Education:
- Associate degree required or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
Experience:
- Two years of related experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to operate gaming consoles and PC gaming equipment across multiple platforms.
- Positive and engaging demeanor with experience in customer service.
- Must be able to have a flexible schedule with shifts during weekend and night hours.
- Knowledge and experience of Esports games such as League of Legends, Overwatch, Rocket League, Valorant, Super Smash Bros, and similar games.
- Ability to work with diverse populations including faculty, staff, students, and community members.
- Computer literacy skills at an intermediate level with the demonstrated ability to utilize and apply Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as specialized software programs and computer applications.
- Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Ability to learn and apply office practices, procedures, policies, and regulations that are essential to the position.
- Ability to travel within the county and state.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations:
- Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities.
- Occasional local travel is required. Night and weekend coverage is necessary. Scheduled shifts will require weekday night coverage with adjustments being made if weekend coverage is needed. Must be able to work closing shifts that vary by semester. The workweek is 37.50 hours/week within the hours of the office operation as scheduled by the Director.
